We finally got a sign! Well, a temporary one at least. Now it really feels like home at the brewery. Soon we’ll have a permanent sign and doors open. Looks like the first batch on our new equipment will be going down next weekend. Can’t wait to share some tasty brews with everyone.

The Boiler Works!
That’s right. After months of pulling our hair out over getting our boiler installed, we flipped the switch today and voila- steam. We filled up the kettle and brought it to a nice boil. Everything is actually starting to function like a proper brewery. Also got hops in today and stored them in our cooler that is also working now. Keg caps showed up today as well, however not quite as exciting as the boiler firing up, it’s just yet another piece of the puzzle we’ve been trying to put together over these past couple years. Next week we’ll get in the cleaning agents and hopefully by next weekend will be ready to BREW!!!!!!
Pipes in Place
Everything is coming together quicker than ever as we approach our initial brew on our new equipment. Vent stacks have been placed for our kettle as well as our boiler. Pipes are hanging everywhere- Glycol pipes, hot liquor pipes, steam pipes, electrical conduit, auger pipes, filtered water pipes, but most importantly- pipes to pump precious beer through them. We finally got our big stainless steel hopper hung over the mash/lauter tun. We finished up painting the tasting room walls and bar today. Just need to finish up the floor and add keg taps. Can’t wait to welcome our first patron once we open the tasting room. I’m digging the black and grey colors we’ve got going on there. I’m gonna keep chasing this rabbit now………..
