Red Hare Recycles!

For every four (4) plastic red six-pack holders you return to the brewery, we’ll take $2 off your tour/tasting cost! It adds up, you do the math!

Last Week’s Recap and Red Hare Happenings for the Week of July 23

Cans are still the big news at Red Hare! As the first craft brewery in Georgia to can, the excitement continued to build last week as the crew readied cans to release upon the city and surrounding areas.

This week the cans have been released! Reports have come in from as far away as Hiram for Red Hare can sightings, thanks for your patience as the brewery crew works hard to get Long Day Lager canned and then as our distributors ship it out to package stores in the area.

This week in the tasting room, we’ll be serving Long Day Lager from cans – however we cannot give out the empty cans – thanks for understanding!

Live music at the brewery this week: Thursday presents Stephanie Caron and Friday we have Adam Glendye.

Saturday is Red Hare Dog Day, bring your best furry pal out for Yappy Hour! Vendors will include Big Daddy Biscuits featuring a dog biscuit made from our spent grains, King of Pops who will have frozen treats for dogs and their humans, and Mellow Mushroom rolls out the Bake Bus for fantastic fresh pizza! Some vendors and Red Hare Brewing will be donating part of the day’s proceeds to Happy Tails Pet Therapy and Road Trip Home Animal Rescue – visit with both of these great pet charities to learn more about their unique missions. Water will be available for your dogs, remember that dogs are allowed in the patio area and in the tasting room (on a leash), but not in the brewery. No extra charge for the dog day event, souvenir tasting glasses are $10 and vendors will have their pricing posted. 3:30-5:30 pm.

Looking ahead, Bobby will be visiting growler gurus Crafty Draught in Cumming on Aug. 4 from 1-3 pm and don’t forget we celebrate our First Anniversary on August 18 – live music, eats from DBA Barbecue and the release of Rabbit’s Reserve #4 – Oktoberfest.

Did you get all of that? We knew you would!

Cans and Luau recap and Red Hare Happenings for the Week of July 16

The Red Hare crew learned how to can beer last week and as a result, you should be able to find Red Hare Long Day Lager in cans sometime before the end of the month. We do not know where the cans will end up being sold, be sure to check with your favorite package store to see if they plan to carry it. We’ll be in Metro Atlanta to begin with.

Did you make it out to our first Luau? We had a blast with about 300 of our closest friends – and plenty of roast hog and goat to go around!

This week, we’re staging a tap takeover at The City Cellar and Loft in Cartersville – the party starts at 4 pm! Enjoy the local sound of Stephanie Caron at the brewery on Friday and Saturday – the Atlanta Brewski Bus makes a stop at Red Hare!

Coming up – July 28 is Red Hare Dog Day! Bring your furry pal out for Yappy Hour – we’ll have local craft dog biscuits from Big Daddy Biscuits, cool treats from King of Pops and fresh pizza from Mellow Mushroom! Part of the day’s proceeds will be donated to Happy Tails Pet Therapy and Road Trip Home – two excellent pet charities! Everything starts at 3:30 pm.

Last Week Recap and Red Hare Happenings for the week of July 9

We finally received a shipment of cans! 95,000 + shiny 12 oz. empty aluminum vessels just waiting to be filled with Long Day Lager! Training commences this week and we expect to have cans in stores for you soon! Stay tuned!

This week, the heat has finally broken and much needed rain threatens – but that doesn’t stop you from enjoying our brews! We’re in a new growler shop in Alpharetta, Tap-It Growlers – stop in and pick up Saison or Watership Brown to go! Wednesday night, Red Hare takes over the taps at Verra Zanno – $4 pints during trivia!

Saturday – break out those Hawaiian shirts for the Red Hare Luau! The party starts at 3:30 pm: Enjoy a pig/goat roast – these critters were raised on Red Hare spent grain, enjoy these slow roasted juicy meats with a Red Hare brew! King of Pops will be on hand to provide cool treats! Remember we are kid/dog friendly!

Speaking of man’s best friend, Red Hare Dog Day will be July 28! Mellow Mushroom will be on hand tossing a few signature pies, King of Pops will be here, pick up doggie treats from Big Daddy Biscuits! Part of the day’s proceeds will be donated to Happy Tails and Road Trip Home. Bring your furry pals out for yappy hour – it’s sure to be a howlin’ good time!

Last Week Recap and Red Hare Happenings for the Week of July 2

Last week was a scorcher to be sure – we had a great crowd out to beat the heat on Saturday June 30 for our first Ice Cream Social with High Road Craft Ice Cream – they brought along a couple of creams made with Red Hare brew as an ingredient!

This week finds July 4 on a Wednesday, so if you have part or all of the week off, we hope you have a very safe holiday! We will have regular hours at the brewery this weekend, Thursday/Friday 5:30-7:30 pm and Saturday 3:30-5:30 pm. Come enjoy AC ambiance while you sip on Red Hare brews!

Sundays, Red Hare is still the featured brew at Village Tavern’s ‘Eats, Beats and Hoppy Treats’ evenings with grilled food on the patio, live music and drink specials.

And as always, we thank you for supporting your local craft beer brewery. Atlanta has a fantastic beer community and we’re proud to be part of it!
