The mother of all beer weeks is May 14-20 and Red Hare will be participating in American Craft Beer Week events around town:

Tuesday May 15:
The Square Pub: Drink Local Night – including a cask of Watership Brown w/peppers, peanut butter and coconut
Rose and Crown Tavern: Pint night during trivia

Wednesday May 16:
Dooleys: Pint night

Thursday May 17:
Wild Wing Cafe: cask of Gangway IPA w/Falconers Flight hops

Friday May 18:
Midway Pub: cask of Watership Brown

Saturday May 19:
East Atlanta Beer Festival (EABF): pouring all three of your Red Hare faves under the Red Hare tent!

As the weather levels out a bit for the week, check out some of the events where you can find Red Hare:
Friday May 11 and Saturday May 12 – Smoke on the Lake BBQ Fest in Acworth, you’ll find us pouring Long Day Lager and Gangway IPA
Saturday – Dunwoody Beer Fest *and* Riverfest – look for all three of our year round brews!
Saturday also finds us as a sponsor for Pong for Paws, a benefit for Life is Labs Rescue – come see us at North River Tavern to support this great cause!
We’re counting down the days until June 2 – the debut of Rabbit’s Reserve #3 – Saison!

Part of the Red Hare crew left on a big ol’ jet plane destined for the Craft Beer Conference last week in San Diego. After a few days of hobnobbing with brewers out there, they returned to Marietta to continue what they do best – making Red Hare beer!

Thirsty Thursday Discounts! Everyone loves a discount, right? We’ve got two for you:
– College students (those of drinking age) – show your college ID and get $2 off your pint glass.
– Bring in an itemized receipt showing you’ve purchased a Red Hare beer elsewhere and get $4 off your pint glass. These discounts cannot be combined, and are valid at the Red Hare brewery on Thursday nights only. Come see us!

Saturday, May 5 – Join us at the Brewery for a special Cinco de Mayo cask! Doors open at 3:30. We are pet and family friendly!

Also Saturday, May 5, Elevation Chophouse and Skybar is holding a Cinco Derby party – enjoy Red Hare brews as you watch the Kentucky Derby! They’re located at 1723 McCollum Parkway Northwest in Kennesaw.

Starting May 6, Village Tavern kicks off their “Eats, Beats and Hoppy Treats” food and beer specials.

Weekly Recap – Movin’ on Up!

We’re movin’ on up here at the brewery. We enjoyed a busy day on April 26 with the arrival of two new fermenting tanks; 40 barrel and 60 barrel.

Forty barrels worth of fermenting space.

And then there were five!

These tanks are all part of the preparation for installation of our canning line – stay tuned for latest news!

Red Hare was one of two beer brands served at the Taste of Marietta on April 29 – according to the Marietta Daily Journal, between 80,000 and 90,000 people descended on Marietta Square to sample food and enjoy the day.

Things are shaping up this week for a Red Hare presence at the Buckhead Wine Festival on April 28 and Taste of Marietta on April 29. We’re still in full-tilt prep mode getting ready for our canning line to be installed. Take a peek at the new bright tank as it was installed last week:

Red Hare at Taste of Marietta!

Sunday, April 29 is Taste of Marietta, 11 am-7 pm on the square in Marietta, GA. Red Hare Brewing Company will be available at the event. Gather your friends and family and come out to taste some of the best food and drink available in Marietta!

Starting April 12 – We’re Open on Thursday!

That’s right, starting on April 12, at 5:30 pm, Red Hare Brewing extends the taproom hours to Thursday! Hours will be 5:30-7:30pm with beer samples and brewery tours. Come enjoy our patio area with your friends and family – we’re kid and pet friendly!
Also on April 12 – celebrate our additional tasting/tour hours with a pint glass special – for one night only, your pint glass and six sample tickets costs $5.* Hope to see you then!

*Regular cost for glass and sample tickets will be $10 after April 12.
